Women should follow a healthy dietary pattern during her pregnancy. If she eats soft-eggs that are stored for many days, then she cannot easily digest them. The eggs should be stored in a safe place so that they do not develop salmonella bacteria. A woman can eat hard eggs when she is pregnant, but they should be properly pasteurized or cooked. If the eggs are raw or not properly cooked, then salmonella bacteria invade the particles of eggs. So, it leads to food poisoning.

A person can eat hard boiled eggs but they should not remain uncooked. Because the bacteria salmonella can even cause miscarriage as it affects the abdominal cavity also. Usually, women do not prefer to egg soft or over boiled eggs because it is not tasty and does not contain the essential nutrients. So, a person should eat eggs that are properly boiled. According to the dietary Guidelines for Americans, a woman should not consume eggs daily because the cholesterol content of the body becomes higher. When the cholesterol level increases, a woman can develop gestational diabetes also. So, according to the research conducted, many women who consumed eggs during pregnancy, developed Type 2 diabetes.

So, she should advise a physician or a gynecologist before consuming eggs. Women with high level of cholesterol, diabetes should not consume eggs because they even develop severe problems later on. Some women who develop diabetes during their pregnancy cannot get rid of the problem even after their delivery.
