There are 13 filters in this category for sorted content. The most important of them show the number of comments, activities, followers, views, likes and reach. Using subsequent filters, we select the period in which the analysis is to be made. Here we have several variants, starting from the last 7 days up to 2 years. There is also the possibility of division into graphics and video. This way you can check whether the widely-favored video format will actually look better than static graphics.

When you set all the parameters, select “Apply”. You will see the view ordered according to the highest values ​​for the category. Insta Stories can also be analyzed, but the available filters are much poorer.

How to use these statistics? Using, for example, the “Profilevisits” category (showing the entries that triggered the most visits to the profile), you can choose the best post for advertising creation. It may turn out that it does not have the highest number of responses, but will effectively direct users to the profile. This is just one example, and other ideas will come to your mind when you start analyzing the available data in detail.

ACTIVITY – Observe Range and Number of Displays

This tab only summarizes for the last 7 days. In order to analyze activities over a longer period of time, it will be necessary to catalog data using e.g. screenshots (of course made regularly, preferably on a specific day of the week). The following subcategories are available in this section:

Interactions – the value of all activities related to user activity on the profile. The increase or decrease in the number of “Profilevisits” compared to the previous week is also shown.

Remember, however, not to make too hasty conclusions, especially since the decreasing number of recipients may be caused by independent causes, e.g. deleting inactive accounts by Instagram itself.

The most popular locations – cities in which the people watching us are the most located. If you are considering placing Polish and English descriptions at the same time, do not just consider locations occupying top positions in this ranking. The number of recipients expecting communication in English can be equally impressive but territorially dispersed.

Age range – this value will help you choose the language of communication in the descriptions under the posts. Groups 45-54 will expect a different narrative style than users in the 13-17 age range. Age can be helpful in determining the frequency of publications, the degree of use of interactive formats, or the aesthetics of photos, graphics, and video.

Most importantly, by introducing changes at the level of the communication strategy, we can assess the effectiveness of actions taken, analyzing whether they actually translate into changes in the demographic structure of the users watching us.
